About Us

Celebrating the Past

On February 24, 1924, Charles D. Fisher issued his first automobile insurance policy to Mr. Carl M. Babb. That was the first of many policies Mr. Fisher would write. He continued to issue policies on the street corner, from his car and at his home before opening an office in downtown Newport, Tn. That was the beginning of Charles D. Fisher Company Inc., what is now referred to as Fisher Insurance Agency, serving the Newport, Knoxville and surrounding areas.

We are proud of our heritage in the local community and remain committed to building relationships grounded in value, reliability and service. With nearly a century of stability as a trusted advisor, we continue to invest ourselves in our client's insurance needs every day.
